One of HarvEast’s core competitive advantages in seed production is the use of irrigated agriculture to enhance seed yield and quality. Before the full-scale invasion, the company operated over 1,300 hectares of irrigated farmland in the Donetsk region. Despite the loss of access to these fields, we retained our irrigation technology expertise and successfully resumed irrigated seed farming in the Kyiv region.
From 2018 to 2025, HarvEast brought more than 1,000 hectares of farmland under irrigation in Kyiv and continues to expand this capacity in cooperation with our seed partners.
Before 2022, HarvEast operated two advanced seed processing plants, including a modern facility built in 2019 near Mariupol according to European quality standards. Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, access to these facilities is currently limited. Nevertheless, HarvEast maintains its operational expertise and is exploring opportunities to rebuild and expand processing capacity.
