Crop Production

Crop production is a core focus of HarvEast's operations.

As of 2025, the agroholding cultivates 24,000 hectares of arable land in the Kyiv region.

Prior to the onset of military aggression in 2014, HarvEast managed a land bank of over 200,000 hectares. Following the occupation of parts of Donetsk region in 2014, the company lost 55,000 hectares, a seed plant, and a significant amount of agricultural machinery.

After the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation in 2022, HarvEast lost control over an additional 95,000 hectares in Donetsk region, including a second seed plant built near Mariupol in 2019, 1,300 hectares of irrigated land, and walnut orchards.

Key crops cultivated by HarvEast:

  • Winter and spring cereals (wheat, barley, corn);
  • Sunflower;
  • Other crops (flax, rapeseed, soybeans).

Winter crops account for no more than 15% of the cultivated land. The selection of crops is based on a comprehensive assessment of market prospects and the need to ensure optimal crop rotation for high yields and the long-term preservation of soil fertility.
